The general scope of this program is to operate as an After School Program, reaching out to youth in the street corners, parks, schoolyards, video arcades, etc. Teachers, instructors, mentors, outreach workers, and an outreach coordinator will assist youth academically, recreationally, and culturally.
The target population is 6+. All participants will be exposed to prevention workshops and health-promoting behavior training. Participants shall demonstrate improving grades and attendance, respect, and the ability to work well in groups. The participants will be from the community at large. The total number of youth to be served will be 1,000.
